Find library materials
The library owns a large circulating collection of print books, downloadable materials, DVDs and Blu-rays, audiobooks on CD and Playaway, music, Launchpads, fitness kits and magazines. You have several options for finding materials owned by the library:
Visit the library
Use the online catalog or stop at a service desk. Any staff member is ready to assist you.
Check the library catalog online:
- To perform a basic search:
- Go to the library catalog.
- Find the the drop down menu that says 'All fields.' Click/tap the down arrow for options to search by author, title, subject, or series.
- Enter your search term and click/tap the green 'Search' button. A list of results will display.
- Click/tap on a title in the results list to get more information, such as location and whether or not the item is checked in.
- From the detail display screen, place a hold by clicking/tapping on the 'Select an Action' drop down and then 'Place Hold(s). Enter your library barcode and PIN to complete your hold request.

You can also check the library catalog on your phone or tablet using the WPL In Touch mobile app, available from Google Play or the App Store.

Call a librarian at either 303-658-2604, College Hill | 303-658-2303, Irving Street, or complete this Online Request Form. The Request Form will be reviewed by staff and the requested item may be purchased by the library or requested through Interlibrary Loan.
Checkout Periods
- One week: Magazines.
- Three weeks: All books (excluding items below), audiobooks, music CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, kits, eBooks and eAudiobooks from Overdrive.
- Six weeks: Book group bags and most hot spots.
- Non-circulating items: Reference materials, current magazine issues and newspapers and certain items in the Front Range Community College collection.
Checkout Limits
Please limit your selections to 30 items total per card per day.
