FAQ: HOW DO I GET TO THE EVENT? SHUTTLES- We highly recommend utilizing our shuttle system to get to and from the event. These will run about every 20 minutes starting at 6 p.m. Service animals only (no pets allowed on shuttles). Courtesy golf carts will be available at the event for those with mobility needs.
Shuttle Stop Locations:
GETTING HOME ON SHUTTLES: Shuttles will pick up at City Park Recreation Center and drop off at the designated shuttle stops. Shuttles run from the conclusion of the fireworks show until the park is cleared out.
Parking- If parking at the event, please use 105th from Sheridan, or the Christopher Fields entrance from 104th.
Handicap Parking- Is located near the fitness center. Let parking attendants or traffic officers know if you require a closer spot. These spaces are limited.
Biking- There will be a free bike valet located on the north section of the park near the parking lot.
Uber/Lyft- May drop off and pick up on Sheridan southbound only, between 107th Drive and 105th Avenue. There will be signage.
Walking- All trails will be open leading into City Park, but please be mindful of the nearby construction and stay out of construction areas/off of construction equipment.
ENTERTAINMENT SCHEDULE: 4 p.m.: Live music by Kentucky Straight Band 7 p.m.: Live music by That Eighties Band 9:15 p.m.: Fireworks ACTIVITIES: Free jumpers and bounce houses/inflatables Food & beer/drink vendors
PROHIBITED ITEMS: Outside alcohol (visit one of our alcohol vendors instead), laser pointers, glass containers, no weapons of any type, gas or charcoal grills, no marijuana use allowed in the event. All bags, containers, and packages are subject to search.
ZERO WASTE EVENT: We are proud to be working with Scraps to produce very little waste at this event. Please look at the sorting stations and sort your trash accordingly. Everything you purchase from food vendors should go straight to the compost bin.
SAFETY INFORMATION: Please follow all public safety and event staff directions during any weather or incident delay or evacuation. In case of a delay or evacuation, calmly proceed to your car, the recreation center, or the Westin.
