Car Seat Inspection Program
The Westminster Fire Department has several personnel who are certified as car seat technicians and are available to inspect and provide instruction on installation of child safety seats free of charge. Inspections are performed for age and size appropriateness, proper installation and use, and to determine whether seats have been recalled or visibly damaged.
Car seat inspections are offered by appointment only and take place on selected Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Upcoming dates for car seat inspections are:
