City Manager Don Tripp talked with Deputy Fire Chief Erik Birk and EMS (Emergency Medical Services) Chief Jeromy Hill about how operations in the city's Fire Department have changed with the COVID-19 public health crisis.
For example, the city's Fire Department takes extra precautions when entering homes for any sort of emergency medical services by asking questions to determine if anybody in the household may have been exposed to COVID-19. They may also use additional personal protection equipment to keep the city's first responders safe as they interact with our community.
City staff is still here to keep our community safe and ensure the continuity of essential services. They also appreciate any donations during this time. To contact them, please visit the department's web page.
