Growing Home's Food Pantry Needs
Non-perishable foods:
- Canned vegetables - particularly corn, tomatoes, and mixed vegetables
- Rice
- Pasta
- Spaghetti sauce
- Salsa or hot sauce
- Canned beans
- Canned fruit
- Macaroni and cheese
- Canned soups
- Canned tuna in water
- Canned chicken
Hygiene kits/toiletries:
- Kits can include (but are not limited to) shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, socks, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, etc.
Non- food items to keep the food pantry sanitized and to protect staff, volunteers, and visitors:
- Surgical-type face masks
- Disposable latex, vinyl, or nitrile gloves
- Boxes for packing food for distribution to families
- Hand sanitizer
- Disinfecting wipes
- Plastic zipper bags - quart and gallon
- Reusable shopping bags
