Big Dry Creek Loop

This loop sports a nice green space, parkland and plenty of opportunities to see wildlife.

Big Dry Creek Park Loop

This loop provides green space, parkland and views of the Front Range.

This loop utilizes two of Westminster’s major trail corridors in Big Dry Creek Trail and Farmers’ High Line Canal trail. The loop sports a ton of green space, waterbodies and views of the Front Range.

Countryside Lollipop Loop

This loop is near a wetland habitat and provides great wildlife viewing opportunities.

Farmers High Line Canal Out and Back

This route will take you along one of our most canopied areas in the city all the way to the edge of Standley Lake, where you will get great views of the regional park and the Front Range

Ketner Lake Loop

A nice loop around one of Westminster’s first open space properties.

Legacy Ridge North Loop

One of our longer loops. This will take you around a few ponds, provide great views of the Front Range, as well as plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities.

Legacy Ridge South Loop

This route will take you through some really nice, quiet neighborhoods and provide plenty of shade.

Margaret's Pond Loop

This short loop will take you around a really nice shadedpond, prime for wildlife viewing and fishing. This open space was acquired bythe city in 1992.

McKay Lake Loop

This loop will take you around a 61 acre lake, provide great views of the Front Range and plenty of opportunities to view wildlife. This open space was acquired by the city in 2000.

Metzger Farm Loop

This loop will take you around the historic 152-acre open space. The property was acquired by the Broomfield Westminster Open Space Foundation in 2006. There are two ponds on the property and the original buildings from the Metzger Family.

Mushroom Pond Loop

This loop will take you around the historic Mushroom Pond, where Savery Savory Mushroom Farm was. The old water tower still remains a symbol of Westminster’s not so distant past. The open space is 20.42 acres and was slowly acquired in chunks from 1989 – 2010.

Standley Lake South Loops

These loops will take you along natural surface trails through golden fields of grasses. The views of the Front Range here are stunning.

Westminster Station Park Loop

One of our newer parks, this loop will take you along a remodeled portion of Little Dry Creek Trail. When finished, hop across the water play areas, enjoy the ponds, or even take the light rail into Denver.

Westminster Hills Dog Park Out and Back

Run along the Rocky Mountain Greenway Trail, through the dog park and out to Mower Reservoir. This is a great spot to take the pup on a run, enjoy great views and maybe spot some awesome critters. Please remember to follow all of the dog park rules (The off-leash area ends about halfway out, please look for the signs, and leash your pup).
