In the September 2022 survey and at the Squires Park Community BBQ, residents chose the Mountain Theme for the playground. The design includes inclusive play elements accessible to children with a wide range of abilities. The plans are 100% complete and the City has selected a construction contractor to undertake the renovations. The City will also be replacing the irrigation system within the park to increase sustainability and manage water more effectively.
The Restrooms at Squires Park have been renovated. The restroom facility now has newly poured concrete flooring, all new plumbing fixtures, doors, eco-friendly hand dryers, LED lighting, and has been completely repainted.
