Westminster's RV Dump Station has reopened!

 An access card is required to use the Dump Station and residents and non-residents can apply for an access card here RV Dump Use Application. Access cards expire on December 31st of each year.

The following information applies to Westminster's RV Dump Station:

Guidelines

  • Your access card is REQUIRED for use of the dump station.
  • All units MUST use a discharge hose to dump contents of holding tanks.
  • Access cards are for use by the owner only, and may not be loaned to other users. A $10 fee will be charged to replace lost access cards.
  • Access cards are valid Jan. 1 through Dec. 31. Cards are de-activated at the end of the year, and can be re-activated by paying the annual fee. Card purchases are not pro-rated.
  • The use of normal sanitizing and deodorizing chemicals is allowed. Please remember that the discharge of any other chemicals, wastes or trash can harm the wastewater treatment facility and is therefore prohibited.
  • Discharge is allowed only at the Big Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility located at 13150 Huron St. and in the manner designated by the City of Westminster. The city reserves the right to set and modify the specific times for use of the dump station and to refuse any discharge. Only the discharge of wastewater from the kitchens and personal sanitary conveniences of recreational vehicles is allowed. Failure to comply with these guidelines or Westminster Municipal Code, Title 8, Chapter 10, is subject to administrative and judicial enforcement, including fines of up to $1,000 and/or imprisonment of up to one year. Prohibited discharges are also subject to enforcement under state and federal law.
  • In consideration for use of the dump station, you agree to defend and indemnify the city from and against all liability, claims and demands, including any third-party claim asserted against the city, on account of any injury, loss or damage which arise out of, or are in any way related to, your use of the dump station. Closed-circuit television has been installed to monitor the station. Access cards will be deactivated if it is determined that the facility has been misused.
  • Vehicle washing is prohibited. Using the station hose to wash vehicles will result in the loss of access to the station.

The city’s RV Dump Station facility is located at the Big Dry Creek Wastewater Treatment Facility, 13150 Huron St. Please look for signs marking the entrance to the facility.

Every day of the year from 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Drive into the facility through the marked entrance. There are two gated stations that require an access card for use. These cards must be purchased at Westminster City Hall, 4800 W. 92nd Ave. All units must use a discharge hose to dump contents of holding tanks
The city charges for resident and non-resident use to recover the costs of operating and maintaining the RV Dump Station.
Westminster residents: $25; Non-residents: $50
The city is concerned about the types of waste material that are deposited into the facility. A locking device prohibits unauthorized users from dumping at the facility.
Access cards can be purchased at Westminster City Hall at the cashier counter. An application form is included on the city website. The cost is listed above. City Hall is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Cash, checks and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, and American Express) are accepted. City Hall is located at 4800 West 92nd Ave., Westminster, CO 80031. Please bring a copy of your water bill and your driver’s license with you for determining your resident status.
Cards are valid Jan. 1 - Dec. 31. Access card purchases are not pro-rated. Please renew your access card by coming into Westminster City Hall to pay the annual fee.
No, it is not necessary to bring your current access card if you're only renewing.  We have your access card number on file.

Yes. Access cards can be purchased by non-residents.

If you experience problems while operating the dump station there will be a call box that rings a phone line in the facility. An operator will then be available to assist you. You will always need your access card to open the facility gate.
