Date – May 3, 2020
On May 1, 2020 at approximately 7:40 pm, officers were dispatched to the report of a stabbing in the 10300 hundred block of 107th Circle. Upon their arrival, officers discovered an adult male suffering from an apparent stab wound. The suspect was no longer on scene. Officers began performing life saving measures until the paramedics arrived. The victim was subsequently transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his injuries. A suspect description was obtained and the suspect was located in the area within a few minutes.
From initial reports, officers learned that the victim and another adult male, later identified as Wesley V. Lougee (DOB 01-30-1984) were inside the garage of a residence when Mr. Lougee stabbed the victim. Mr. Lougee then ran from the scene.
On May 1, 2020, Wesley V. Lougee (DOB 01-30-1984) was arrested as the sole suspect in this case and was charged with C.R.S. 18-3-102 (1)(a) Murder in the First Degree.
