Date – March 06, 2019

At approximately 7:00 pm, the Westminster Police Department received a call with regard to a missing adult with a traumatic brain injury.  Officers were advised that Ms. Patricia Blenis (49 years old) had wandered away from the 8600 block of Sheridan Blvd.

Patricia was originally contacted by Westminster Officers on the evening of March 05, 2019 because she was wandering in the area of 72nd Ave. and Osceola St.   Family members were contacted and Patricia was taken home.

On the morning of March 06, 2019, Patricia contacted the Westminster Police Department and advised that she was lost and did not know how to get home.  Contact was made with her family, and at their request, Patricia was driven to a restaurant in the 8600 block of Sheridan Blvd.  When family members arrived to pick her up, they were unable to locate Patricia.  After spending the day looking for Patricia, family members called to report her as missing.

Attempts to locate Patricia through her cellular phone and other means have been unsuccessful.  She is described as a white female, 5’11” tall, 170 lbs. with auburn hair, brown eyes and a tracheotomy scar.  Due to her brain injury, Patricia walks slowly, is easily confused and suffers from short term memory loss.  Patricia is not dressed for the cold weather and was last seen wearing a lightweight grey colored jacket, grey pants and house slippers.

We are asking for the public’s help in locating Patricia.  If you see her, please call your local police department.
