Curbside pickup of holds and book drops for return of materials are now available at College Hill and Irving Street libraries. Just follow these easy steps:
Curbside Pickup of Holds
Wednesdays, 3-6 p.m.
Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Place items on hold using the online catalog or WPL in Touch mobile app.
- Watch for an email notification that your hold is available.
- Please call to let us know when you are on your way to pick up your hold at the library. Staff will ask for your library card number and get items ready for your arrival. Services are only available during designated pickup days and times.
- Call us again once you have arrived. Staff will place your hold on a table in front of the library for you to pick up. For the safety of yourself and others, please wait until staff is back inside before approaching the table. If you are mobility-impaired, please let staff know ahead of time and we will make arrangements.

- No rush! All due dates have been extended through June 15.
- Returned items are being quarantined and sanitized.
- Your account will not reflect returns immediately.
- We cannot accept donations at this time.
