I spy with my little eye…eagles!
The Standley Lake eagle webcam had been offline for a while, but now it is back up and better than ever.
The new eagle webcam is in high-definition and has the ability for the city to zoom and pan to best see the eagles. Viewers can watch a 24-hour time lapse video slideshow through picking a day in the drop down on the video, too.
The webcam is now also equipped with an infrared camera, night vision setting and a microphone to pick up sound!
“The eagles are currently in a nest building phase and the nest is being used now as a night roost,” said Standley Lake Operations Coordinator Holly Walters. “For the next couple of months, the best time you can see the eagles is early morning and early evening.”
The camera works best using Google Chrome.
