Save money on your electric bill with solar panels, check out Westminster Solar Cooperative
The Westminster Solar Cooperative (co-op) is now open for free member sign-ups! Learn what installing solar panels on your home or business could mean for you, with no obligation to buy.
A partnership with the city and Solar United Neighbors, the co-op is made up of residents and small businesses who want a streamlined process of installing solar panels and to save money by going together as a group. The co-op bundles together the collective purchase of solar panels to get the best deal from an installer selected by the co-op.
With our bright sunshine, the city has excellent solar resources. Installing solar is more affordable than ever, and is a great way to save money on your energy bills and reduce air pollution. With the 26% Federal solar tax credit extended, now is the time to take advantage of this savings opportunity.
Join us on Thursday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. to hear from local speakers about solar technology, the co-op process and available financing options. Meeting information will be posted when it’s available.
Visit the city’s sustainability webpage at www.westminsterco.gov/Rebates for other solar options available to residents.
