Transportation & Mobility Plan summer 2020 online community survey now closed

Thank you for the community input we received through the Goals, Strategies and Trade-offs and Design Your Streets online community engagement activities this summer. The surveys are now closed and the input received will be used to inform the development of the Transportation & Mobility Plan's recommendations and strategies and other key plan development next steps. A summary of the community input received will be published later this year and be included in the final plan. For more information about the Transportation & Mobility Plan and announcements for future input opportunities, please visit the project website at: https://www.cityofwestminster.us/TransportationMobilityPlan

Look for announcements regarding opportunities to provide input on the draft plan in early 2021. For questions, please contact the project team at: westminsterforward@westminsterco.gov.

About The Plan
Westminster's first Transportation & Mobility Plan is a community-driven plan that will address the near- and long-term multimodal transportation and mobility needs of residents, commuters and visitors. The development of Westminster’s Transportation & Mobility Plan began late last year with gathering community input about the city's transportation vision and goals (Haga clic aquí para ver la visión y los objetivos en español) as well as an analysis of the existing conditions of the city's transportation system.

The plan will include:

  • Goals, objectives, and recommendations for strategic actions and investments to provide safer and more efficient, connected, and accessible transportation options for all demographic sectors of the community.
  • Guiding policy recommendations to prepare for factors including evolving technologies and advancement in environment and community health.
  • Identification of key corridors for transit, bicycle and pedestrian improvements.

A consultant team is providing technical expertise and community engagement support to assist City staff in the development of the plan in coordination with other citywide and regional plans and projects, including Westminster Forward.
