The Subaru Forester associated with this case was recovered in Commerce City on Tuesday May 25, 2021. Sadly, SOLO was not inside of the vehicle. Detectives are looking to speak with the two below subjects in the hopes of finding SOLO.
The reward in the case was raised to $7000.00 through private donations and Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

Westminster Police need your assistance in locating a stolen vehicle which had a 15-year-old dog named SOLO inside. The vehicle was stolen at 4:36 PM today from 73rd and Federal Blvd, which was parked in front of the Tropical Smoothie Café. The stolen vehicle is a 2006 navy-blue Subaru Forester bearing North Carolina plate # 42M1BP. Please contact police with any information about the vehicle or dog. SOLO’s owner got her when she was only 5 years old. SOLO was not wearing a collar and has not been chipped.
