If you are interested in being on the November ballot as a City Council candidate, please obtain the official Nomination Petition and Instructions from the City Clerk's Office at Westminster City Hall, 4800 W. 92nd Ave., starting Monday, Aug. 5.
Candidates must first announce their candidacy. Visit the city’s Election website and follow the steps under How to Become a Candidate.
Next, candidates must collect 25 valid signatures from Westminster electors between Aug. 6-26. It is strongly recommended that candidates collect at least 50 signatures to account for signatures that may be invalidated.
Petitions must be submitted to the City Clerk’s office by no later than 6 p.m. on Monday, Aug.26.
