Water main construction crews wrapping up work on Lowell Boulevard
Crews are finishing up work on Lowell Boulevard and expect to be done by the end of next week. Temporary street restoration will be in place before permanent paving is completed within the next month.
Following Lowell Boulevard, crews will replace approximately 625 feet of deteriorating 8 inch water main with a new 8 inch PVC plastic water main in the Melody Plaza Shopping Center at 120th Avenue and Melody Drive.
The water main construction crew is an in-house crew that replaces approximately two miles of residential water line each year. This program provides high-quality water line replacement service, in conjunction with sensitivity to customer service issues.
