Subject: Theft - Officer Injured
Date – April 30, 2018
Today around 6:15pm, Westminster Police received a call of a theft in progress in the 9100 block of Wadsworth Parkway. As officers attempted to take one of the suspects into custody, he began to fight with officers. As a result of the fight, one officer received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
The suspect was taken into custody on obstruction, resisting arrest and several warrants.
There were no injuries to the suspect or any additional officers.
