Date – May 26, 2019
On Sunday, May 26 at approximately 10:00 PM, officers responded to a call of a disturbance in the 7000 block of Winona Ct. When police arrived, there were several people in the street. Police located one adult male with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local area hospital and pronounced deceased. The person who allegedly shot the male was still on scene and was arrested. After being interviewed that person was taken to Adams County Jail and is being held on Second Degree Murder charges. (CRS 18-3-103)
The circumstances behind the shooting are still under investigation. No further information will be released at this time.
