Below is the mug shot of Jeremy Webster who is the suspect in the shooting at 80th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.

18-3-102(1)(A) Murder in the First Degree After Deliberation with Intent
18-3-102(1)(D) Murder in the First Degree Extreme Indifference
18-3-202 Assault in the First Degree
18-2-101 Criminal Attempt to Commit a Class One Felony

Mr. Webster will be housed at the Adams County Detention facility.

We do not anticipate releasing any additional details in this case.

The family of the mother and her sons who were involved in yesterday’s shooting incident has asked Westminster Police to release the following brief statement to the media:

“Please respect our family’s privacy in these troubling times.”

The family does not wish to grant media interviews and is not releasing any pictures at this time.

Subject: *3rd UPDATE* 80th Ave./Sheridan Blvd.Shooting

June 15, 2018 (10:12a.m.)

On June 14, 2018 Westminster Police responded to a shooting at 80th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.  

Westminster Police have the below suspect in custody. 

We are again asking the media and the public to not release any pictures of the suspect while we continue the investigation this morning. We will release a booking photo at a later time.

Suspect: Jeremy Webster, 23 years old.

Charges:
18-3-102(1)(A) Murder in the First Degree After Deliberation with Intent
18-3-102(1)(D) Murder in the First Degree Extreme Indifference
18-3-202 Assault in the First Degree
18-2-101 Criminal Attempt to Commit a Class One Felony

The adult female and juvenile male are still in critical condition as of this morning.

Through our investigation we have been able to determine the suspect did not know any of the victims and did not have a relationship with any of them. It appears as if this incident stemmed from a road rage.

Subject: *UPDATE* 80th Ave./Sheridan Blvd.Shooting

Date – June 14, 2018 (10:14p.m.)

Today at 3:05p.m. Westminster Police were notified of a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of a business at 80th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.

When officers arrived on scene, they found two adults and two children, suffering from gunshot wounds.  

All four victims were shot in the parking lot of the business complex.  There were no additional victims in any of the businesses.

An adult male who was shot is expected to survive his injuries. There is no relation between this victim and the below listed victims.

An adult female and her two male children were also struck by gunfire.  The female and one of the children sustained life threatening injuries and are in critical condition.

A juvenile male succumbed to his injuries.  

The identities of the victims are not being released at this time.

We believe we have the person responsible for this incident in custody and there is not a danger to the public.  Due to the ongoing nature of this investigation and the need to complete photo lines ups with several witnesses, we are not releasing the identity of the adult male at this time. We will release his information as soon as we complete the initial part of this investigation. We anticipate being able to release the identity of the suspect sometime tomorrow.

At this time we do not have a motive for this crime.

The scene at 80th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard is clear and all roadways have been re-opened.

At approximately 5:50pm the vehicle of interest was located South Bound I-25 at exit 184. 

We are working through the investigative process and ask the media and the public to refrain from posting any pictures of individuals they may think are involved.

As soon as we are able, we will release additional information regarding this case. We anticipate releasing additional information later this evening.

Today at 3:05p.m. Westminster Police were notified of a shooting that occurred in the parking lot of a business at 80th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard.

When officers arrived on scene, they found two adults and two children, in the parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds. All parties were transported to area hospitals with serious injuries. There are no updates on their conditions at this time. 

We are looking for the below vehicle of interest related to the shooting:

Black 4-Door 2010 Toyota Corolla, Colorado License Plate NPQ091

There is no suspect description available at this time. 

Any occupants of the vehicle should be considered armed and dangerous. If you have information on the whereabouts of this vehicle, call 911 or Westminster Police at 303-658-4360 immediately. Do not approach the vehicle or occupants.

80th Avenue is closed between Wolff Street and Sheridan Boulevard. Please avoid the area. We will update you when the road is opened.
