Date – July 16, 2019
On July 11, 2019 at about 5:40am, Westminster Police responded to a vehicle accident in the 7000 block of Sheridan Boulevard. A single vehicle struck a bus stop, killing an adult female and seriously injuring an adult male. The driver, a 16 year old male, stayed on scene. The juvenile was arrested and released pending charges. Distracted driving is thought to be the main cause of the accident. At this time we do not suspect drugs or alcohol.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s office.
It will take several months for this investigation to be complete and a determination of charges.
