Date – August 26, 2020
On August 22, 2020 at approximately 8:45pm, officers were dispatched to the 7100 block of Utica Street reference a shooting.
Officers located an adult male suffering from several gunshot wounds and he was transported to a local hospital. The victim has since been released from the hospital. The suspect had fled the scene in a dark colored SUV prior to officers arriving.
The initial investigation revealed that the suspect had ridden by the victim's residence earlier in the day on a red sport type motorcycle. The suspect then later returned in a dark SUV and confronted the victim. The suspect exited his vehicle and fired several rounds at the victim from close range. The suspect got back into his vehicle and fled north on Utica Street. There was possibly an unknown female in the front passenger seat.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 5'09" - 5'11" with an average build and short, tightly curled hair.
