11/14/18 Fatal Motorcycle Accident
Date – November 14, 2018
Tonight around 6:15pm Westminster Police were dispatched to a serious accident in the 11200 block of Wolff Street.
An adult male, on a motorcycle, was travelling westbound on 112th Avenue. A minivan was travelling south on Wolff Street to turn onto eastbound 112th Avenue. The motorcyclist struck the minivan, killing the driver of the motorcycle. The adult female driver of the minivan was uninjured and is cooperating with police.
This accident is currently under investigation and will take several months to reconstruct, however speed is being considered as a contributing factor in the accident.
There have been no charges filed at this time.
The roadway between Sheridan Boulevard and Vrain Street, on 112th Avenue has been closed most of the evening, but has now re-opened.
