Tonight around 5:20 pm we received a call of a carjacking in the 3200 block of 73^rd Avenue.  It was reported that two black males took the victims truck.  The adult male victim was not injured.

At about 5:35pm, we received a call of a bank robbery at the TCF bank located in the 7200 block of Federal Boulevard.  Weapons were shown during the robbery, however no one was injured.

We believe the same suspects from the carjacking also robbed the bank.

The vehicle from the initial carjacking has been recovered.

The police department initially set up a perimeter in the neighborhood south of the bank, however that has since been lifted.  We believe the suspects have left the area.
