1/22/18 Homicide Investigation
Date – February 22, 2018
Around 2:00am a Westminster Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on a suspected DUI driver. During the course of the investigation it was determined occupants of the car may have been involved in a shooting.
Officers went to the Edgewood Apartments located at 6980 Stuart Street and discovered a crime scene inside one of the apartments. There was also a deceased male in the apartment.
Detectives are still working to determine what exactly happened in the early morning hours at this apartment. Due to the ongoing investigation we do not have any additional details to release at this time.
The identity of the deceased victim will be released by the Adams County Coroner’s Office.
