On March 9, 2018 around 9:10 p.m. Westminster Police received several calls about a shooting at Guadalajara Sports Bar located at 2895 72nd Ave.

When officers arrived on scene, they determined multiple shots had been fired into the bar from the parking lot.  An adult male was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound, he is expected to survive his injury.

At this time, it appears as if a customer in the bar was asked to leave by staff.  After leaving, we believe the suspect returned and fired several rounds into the business.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his 30’s, approximately 5’8” with a “thick” build. He has a large tattoo on his upper left arm, a goatee and was wearing a “man bun” hairstyle.  He is pictured in the video below wearing a “cutoff” white/grey sweat shirt.

An associated car may be a small white or beige hatchback with dark tinted windows.

We would like to speak to any of the witnesses in the video as well as obtaining any information on who the suspect is.
