Earn a $5 utility bill credit after completing this survey

Earn a $5 utility bill credit after completing this survey

The city is updating its Water Conservation and Efficiency Plan to ensure we continue offering the right programs to help residents be water wise. To do that successfully, we need your input. Customers are eligible to receive one $5 utility bill credit per household for completing a survey.

Keep your Westminster utility bill handy! You will need to enter your account information at the end of the survey to receive the $5 credit. The last day to take the survey is Sunday, March 22. Your bill credit will be reflected on your April utility bill.

The state-required Water Conservation and Efficiency Plan helps Westminster plan for saving water, lists the programs we will undertake over the next five years and documents past successes. Our customers have a fundamental role in shaping the city's efforts to save water.

This survey will help Westminster design the best water conservation/efficiency programs for residents and businesses.

After public input is collected through this survey, a draft plan will be available for review and comment before City Council and State approval.

Using our water efficiently returns major benefits to the city. Over the past two decades, the city’s population increased by nearly 13,000 residents and the city added almost 130 new business connections, yet total water demand has dropped. How is this possible? Water demand is down because each person is using an average of 15% less water than they did in 2000.

Without the conservation efforts of Westminster residents and businesses since 1980, rates could be nearly double what they are today.

Thank you for your input to help us all be water wise.
