Enter to win a conservation kit by commenting on the city's sustainability plan
Now's your chance to help shape the future of Westminster. The city's first-ever Sustainability Plan is open for public comment through the end of January. And we want to hear from you!
Take a second to picture the future of the city. Do you want to see more community gardens or local produce? Would you like to have more alternative transportation options to make it easier to bike, walk, or ride to work? Are you curious about renewable energy?
The Sustainability Plan strives to address the community's desire for an economically strong, socially vibrant and environmentally healthy city through seven themes:
- Energy
- Economic resilience
- Housing and neighborhoods
- Health and wellness
- Natural resources and environment
- Transportation and mobility
- Waste and materials
Cross-cutting issues that influence all topics include safety, resilience, education and equity.
Provide your feedback to be entered into a drawing to win a free conservation kit.
The public comment period ends January 31.
