Give your design input for the Water 2025 project

Give your design input for the Water 2025 project

The city is taking applications to be in a Design Working Group to inform the design of the new water treatment facility, called the Water 2025 project. The Design Working Group will be comprised of community members and meet five times in 2020 and 2021 to gather input on the facility’s appearance and construction management techniques.

The Water 2025 project team will consider input from this group and future public meetings when making design and construction decisions.

Water 2025 is a long-term planning project to replace the city's aging Semper Water Treatment Facility and ensure high-quality drinking water for our community now and into the future.

Based on the results of a fact-based and community engaged site selection process, City Council took action to begin acquiring land at the recommended site near 98th Avenue and Westminster Boulevard during the July 22 meeting.
