Jody Andrews Selected as Westminster’s Next City Manager
Westminster City Council selected Acting City Manager Jody Andrews as the permanent city manager.
“Acting City Manager Jody Andrews has been an excellent leader over his decade of service with our city,” said Mayor Nancy McNally. “I know Jody well, and he has been nothing but an exemplary leader. We didn’t want to waste time and money looking outside when we knew we had the right person for the job in-house.”
“I am honored that City Council has selected me as Westminster's next city manager,” said Andrews. “I thank City Council for their support and confidence in my leadership. I look forward to continuing the progress we have made as a city, and I am committed to serving as a strong, steadying hand for our team and community. My priority is to value all voices in our community, and to work closely with City Council and city staff to continue to provide the high-quality services our community has come to expect.”
Westminster City Council will vote on Andrews’ formal appointment as city manager, and an employment contract in open session at its next meeting on September 23, 2024. Andrews will be sworn in after his contract has been approved.
Please join City Council for a reception for Andrews at City Hall (4800 W. 92nd Avenue) this coming Monday, September 23, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Andrews’ swearing-in ceremony will commence at 7 p.m. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided.
