Jody Andrews Sworn in as City Manager
On Monday, September 23, 2024, Jody Andrews was sworn in as Westminster’s permanent city manager. Andrews brings more than a decade of experience and familiarity with Westminster to the position, having previously served in several leadership roles within the organization.
A reception was held at City Hall before the open session, in which City Council voted unanimously to approve the new City Manager contract.
Jody Andrews has served as the City of Westminster’s acting city manager since July and was previously interim city manager from October 2021-22. Mr. Andrews has served the city in various leadership roles for more than a decade including as Deputy City Manager (2015-2022) and Public Works Director (2013-2015). Prior to his work for Westminster, Mr. Andrews served as the Deputy City Manager for Vancouver, BC (Canada). During his tenure with the city of Vancouver, he served as the project manager for Vancouver’s 2010 Olympic Village. In addition, Mr. Andrews served as a director at the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (2009-2012) where he led the design and construction of the United Arab Emirates’ capital city. Mr. Andrews earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from the University of British Columbia.
