At the May 10 City Council meeting, Westminster City Council passed Resolution No. 14, ordering the recall election as to Councillor Voelz. The recall election is scheduled for July 20, 2021. The deadline for candidates to file their nomination petitions to succeed the person sought to be recalled is May 20, 2021. Beginning Tuesday, May 11, any interested person wishing to place their name on the recall election ballot should make an appointment with the City Clerk’s Office to pick up a nomination petition packet.
