The proposed Uplands project in the city is composed of five parcels of land. All parcels are part of a Preliminary Development Plan (PDP) that indicates zoning items, street hierarchy, parks, building setbacks, and similar items.

Parcel A, at 150+ acres, is bounded by Federal Boulevard, 88th Avenue, Lowell Boulevard and 84th Avenue. Parcel A is within the PDP boundary and is designated as Traditional Mixed Use Neighborhood Design (TMUND).

The TMUND designation requires a Master Official Development Plan (MODP) for Parcel A. The MODP is being reviewed concurrently with the PDP.

The city requires a neighborhood meeting for a MODP, which has been scheduled for Jan. 26 and 27.

Notice of the meeting has been provided to all property owners within 750 feet of the proposed Uplands project. The intent of the meeting is to discuss the MODP presently in review for Parcel A.
